[ Software introduction ]
NEC ESMPRO Manager Ver. 7 (hereinafter "this software") is server management
software aiming at managing and monitoring servers on network.
Carefully read the following user license agreement for NEC software before using
this software. If you do not agree to the terms of the agreement, do not download
this software. By downloading this software, you agree to be bound by the terms of
the agreement.

[ User license agreement for NEC software ]
This user license agreement is an agreement between you and the NEC Corporation
(hereinafter referred to as NEC). Under the following terms of agreement, NEC
grants you the right to utilize this software program (hereinafter referred to as
"licensed program"), but the customer will be bound to these to the terms.
NEC will not be held liable for the use, installation, or the results of the use
of the licensed program.
1. Terms
(1) This user license agreement takes effect from the day the software product is
received by the user.
(2) You may terminate your rights to use the licensed program under this user
license agreement at any time, by notifying NEC, in writing, at least one month
or longer prior to the requested date of termination.
(3) NEC reserves the right to terminate this license agreement if you violate any
of the provisions in this agreement.
(4) Your rights to use the licensed program will continue until it is terminated
in accordance with the provisions stated in this license agreement.
(5) If the agreement is terminated for any reason by either party, you are
required to destroy the software, copies of the software and its manuals and
media, or return them to NEC immediately.
2. Usage right
You may use the licensed program only on NEC Express5800 series or management
computers.
3.Copyrights and other intellectual property rights
Copyrights and other intellectual property rights related to the licensed program
belong to us or third parties who own copyrights and other intellectual property
rights of the licensed program. The licensed program is protected by the laws of
Japan, the United States, and other applicable countries.
4. Copying, altering, and combining of the licensed program
(1) You are granted the permission to create on copy of the licensed program to
use as a backup in case the program data becomes lost, damaged or destroyed.
Once the licensed program is loaded into memory on a PC, a copy of the program
may be stored only as backup incase the fixed memory of the PC becomes damaged
or lost.
(2) The copyrights and license agreement must be attached to all copies of the
licensed program.
(3) Unless otherwise specified in this user license agreement, you may not use,
copy, alter the licensed program or combine it with another module. It may
not reproduced in any publications or networks. The handling of the licensed
program and/or documents must strictly follow the terms and conditions of
this license agreement, and at no time shall it be handled in any other terms.
(4) All related documents (e.g., manuals) provided with the licensed program may
not be copied, altered or reproduced in any publications or networks, under
any circumstances.
(5) This user license agreement does not transfer the intellectual property of
the licensed program to the user.
5. Transfer of the licensed program
It is prohibited to sublicense, transfer, assign, or dispose of the licensed
program or the right to use it to third parties.
6. Decompilation
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the licensed program.
7. Term of a guarantee
(1) NEC makes no warranties, expressed or implied concerning this licensed program,
and will at no time, be held liable to pay for any expenses which may be
incurred, should a problem result from the use of the licensed program.
(2) Regardless of the terms stated above in term (1), upon correction of the
licensed program errors (bugs), NEC may, at its own discretion, release an
update patch for error-correction (hereinafter referred to as modification
program), or information, including NEC approved method of error correction.
The modification program provided to you will be regarded as the licensed
program, and will follow the terms and conditions of this license agreement.
8. No liability
Under no circumstances shall we be liable for any loss of profits or damages
arising from special circumstances, whether or not foreseeable by us, or for
any damages claimed by third parties against you. We disclaim all responsibility
for such damages.
9. Others
The user must agree that any disputes concerning this user license agreement will
be settled at the Tokyo district court as the exclusively appointed court.

This product contains libraries ("External Libraries") provided by the third party
suppliers("Suppliers"). Please assume and agree these libraries' licence documents
and NOTICE files before using this product.

Notwithstanding any of the terms in the Agreement or any other agreement You
may have with NEC:
a) "Suppliers" provide the libraries WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND and, such
Suppliers DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS
INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE WARRANTY OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR INTERFERENCE
AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE EXTERNAL LIBRARIES;
b) In no event are the Suppliers liable for any direct, indirect, incidental,
special, exemplary, punitive or consequential damages, including but not
limited to lost data, lost savings, and lost profits, with respect to the
External Libraries; and,
c) NEC and the Suppliers are not liable to You, and will not defend, indemnify,
or hold You harmless for any claims arising from or related to the External
Libraries.

[ Installation procedure ]
Use the following procedure to install this software.
(1) Follow the instruction on the "NEC ESMPRO Manager Ver 7 Installation Guide"
to install this software.
[ Note ]
- About notes on Unzipping a zip File
Before unzipping the zip file of this software, confirm and delete the ZoneID
information with the following procedure.
If you unzip the zip file and install the software with the ZoneID
information, the module after applying the software may not work properly.
The information called "ZoneID" has been added to a file downloaded
from a site in a zone configured other than [Intranet] on Internet Explorer
of Windows Vista, Windows XP Service Pack 2 or greater.
If ZoneID is added to the zip file, the ZoneID information is succeeded to a
deployed file and a warning of security is displayed when executing the file,
consequently, services or processed may not start.
1) Checking and changing the policy setting (Hide mechanisms to remove zone
information):
1-1) Click the [Start] menu, and click [Run].
1-2) Enter "gpedit.msc", and click [OK].
1-3) The Group Policy Object Editor dialog box appears. Click [User
Configuration], click [Administrative Templates], double-click
[Windows Components], and double-click [Attachment Manager].
1-4) Check the [State] of [Hide mechanisms to remove zone information].
If it is "Enabled," click [Disabled] on the Hide mechanisms to remove
zone information Properties dialog box, and click [OK].
If it is "Disabled" or "Not Configured," you do not need to change
the setting.
2) Deleting the ZoneID information of the zip file:
2-1) Open the properties dialog box of the zip file, and click the [General]
tab.
2-2) If the following message is displayed, click [Unblock], and click [OK].
Security: This file came from another
computer and might be blocked to
help protect this computer.
3) Changing the policy setting (Hide mechanisms to remove zone information):
If you changed the policy setting (Hide mechanisms to remove zone
information) from "Enabled" to "Disabled," configure it to "Enabled" with
the same procedure.
