[Software introduction]

DianaScope (hereafter called "The software") is software designed for reducing 
operational management costs by remotely managing servers.

One server license is required for each server to be managed remotely by 
using DianaScope.

DianaScope Server License is provided as products below.
1. UL1198-001 SystemGlobe DianaScope Additional Server License(1)
2. UL1198-011 SystemGlobe DianaScope Additional Server License(10)

Carefully read the following user license agreement for NEC software before 
using the software.
If you do not agree to the terms of the agreement, do not download this software.
By downloading the software, you agree to be bound by the terms of the agreement.


[User license agreement for NEC software]

This user license agreement is an agreement between you and the NEC Corporation 
(hereinafter referred to as NEC). Under the following terms of agreement, 
NEC grants you the right to utilize this software program (hereinafter referred to 
as "licensed program"), but the customer will be bound to these to the terms. 
NEC will not be held liable for the use, installation, or the results of the 
use of the licensed program.

1. License
    NEC Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "NEC") grants you a personal
    and non-exclusive license to use the provided software (the "Software")
    only on one machine at any one time, and only in the country where you
    acquired the Software.  The Software is in "use" on a machine when it is
    loaded into temporary memory (i.e. RAM) or installed into permanent memory
    (i.e. hard disk or other storage device) of that machine.  You obtain no
    license other than those expressly granted you under this Agreement.

2. Period
    (1) You may terminate the license granted hereunder by notifying us in
        writing at least one month prior to the desired termination date.  
    (2) NEC may terminate the license granted you hereunder at any time if
        you fail to comply with any terms and conditions of this Agreement.
    (3) Upon termination of the license, you must destroy or dispose of the
        Software, any copies of the Software and manual and other materials
        provided with the Software.

3. Copyright
    No title to the Software shall be transferred to you. 

4. Copying, modification
    (1) You may make only one copy of the Software solely for a backup purpose,
        provided that you shall reproduce the copyright notices on each copy
        of the Software. 
    (2) You may not copy, modify, combine, alter or otherwise change or
        disposed of the Software except as provided in this Agreement.
    (3) You may not reproduce the manual or other related documentation
        accompanying the Software.

5. Other Restrictions
    (1) You may not rent, lease, assign, transfer or make available the
        Software to any third party. 
    (2) You may not export or transfer, directly or indirectly, the Software
        to any country other than the country where you acquire the Software.

6. Reverse compile
    You may not reverse engineer, reverse compile, disassemble or otherwise
    analyze the Software.

7. Limitation of Warranties
    (1) THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF
        ANY KIND.  NEC AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL
        WARRANTIES FOR THE SOFTWARE, EITHER EXPRESS OR
        IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF
        MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
        FURTHER, NEC AND ITS SUPPLIERS MAKE NO REPRESENTATION
        OR WARRANTY THAT THE USE OF ANY SOFTWARE WILL NOT
        INFRINGE ANY THIRD PARTY嫻S RIGHTS, INCLUDING BUT
        NOT LIMITED TO, ANY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS.
        IN NO EVENT SHALL NEC AND ITS SUPPLIERS BE HELD
        LIABLE WITH RESPECT TO ANY CLAIM BY YOU OR ANY THIRD
        PARTY ON ACCOUNT OF OR ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE
        SOFTWARE.

    (2) NEC will replace the defective media at no charge if
        such defect is discovered and the Software is returned
        to NEC within 30 days of your receipt of the Software.
        This Section 7(2) provides NEC's sole liability and
        your exclusive remedy hereunder.

8. Limitation of Liabilities
    IN NO EVENT SHALL NEC OR ITS SUPPLIER SHALL BE LIABLE FOR
    ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSS OF PROFIT OR
    DAMAGES BASED ON ANY THIRD PARTY CLAIM, EVEN IF NEC HAS
    BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
    NEC'S ENTIRE LIABILITY FOR ANY REASONS WHATSOEVER SHALL BE
    LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR THE SOFTWARE
    THAT CAUSED THE LIABILITY OF NEC.

9. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the country
   in which you acquired the Software.

Installation procedure
================================================================================
The procedures of extract and installation of this software are shown for Windows.

[Extract procedure]
(1) Download ds_ins1.exe - ds_ins7.exe into a suitable location. (The C:¥download 
folder is the download destination in this example.)
(2) Click the [Start] button, and then [Run...].
(3) Enter "C:¥download¥ds_ins1.exe" into the "Open" field, then click the [OK] button. 
The dialog box will open.
(4) Please input the folder name in which the extracted file will be stored. 
And push the [OK] button.
 Folder "dianascope" will be made in the specified folder and the required 
 software and explanation files will be extracted to the folder.
(The C:¥download folder is the extracted destination in this example.)
(5) Please extract ds_ins2.exe - ds_ins7.exe similarly.

[Installation procedure]
(1) Please open the "C:¥download¥dianascope¥menu¥en¥menu.html" file extracted by 
[Extract procedure] with Microsoft Internet Explorer.
 The DianaScope installation menu for Windows will open.
(2) Please install each module of DianaScope according to the description of 
an online document or the instruction of the installation menu.
      
[Confirmation of update]
Please confirm each module was updated correctly. (Refer to the [Confirm method 
of the version].)

Please refer to DianaScope online document for the installation procedure on Linux.
You can open the online document from "C:¥download¥dianascope¥menu¥en¥document.html" 
file that is extracted by [Extract procedure].

[DianaScope Manager]
- Please login DianaScope, and click "DianaScope" of the header menu.
- Please open "Control Panel" - "Add or Remove Programs" on Windows, and click 
support information on DianaScope Manager.

[DianaScope Agent (Windows)]
Follow the procedure below.
(1) Please click "All Programs" - "DianaScope Agent" - "DianaScope Agent" from 
"Start" button.
    The main dialog box of DianaScope Agent will be displayed.
(2) Please click the icon displayed in the left of the title bar of the dialog box.
(3) Please click "About DianaScope Agent". 

It is possible to confirm it remotely.
- Please login DianaScope, and click "Server Properties" - "Information" of the 
managed server.

[DianaScope Agent (Linux)]
- Please move to /usr/DianaScopeSysman directory.
    Please execute ./agentconf.
- It is possible to confirm it remotely.
  Please login DianaScope, and click "Server Properties" - "Information" of the 
  managed server.

[DianaScope PXE Service]
 When installing it, it is displayed on the installer.

[DianaScope Configuration]
Follow the procedure below.
(1) Please click "All Programs" - "DianaScope Configuration" - "DianaScope 
Configuration" from "Start" button.
    The main dialog box of DianaScope Configuration will be displayed.
(2) Please click the icon displayed in the left of the title bar of the dialog box.
(3) Please click "About DianaScope Configuration". 

[NEC ESMPRO Manager Association Module]
Please open "Control Panel" - "Add or Remove Programs" on Windows, 
and click support information on NEC ESMPRO Manager Association.
