Important Notice

Be sure to read carefully before using the features.

For both Hyper-V and Hyper-V 2.0:

  • To bind a teaming adapter created by the Intel® PROSet to the Hyper-V, be sure to restart the system after completing the binding configuration.
  • To bind a teaming adapter with the Adaptive Load Balancing (ALB) enabled to the Hyper-V, the Receive Load Balancing (RLB) is unavailable.
Disable the RLB before binding it to the Hyper-V by following the steps below.
  • 1. Select [Service Manager] and open [Device Manager].
    2. Right-click the teaming adapter under [Network adapters] and open [Properties].
    3. Open the [Advanced] tab page and select [Disabled] for [Receive Load Balancing] within the list.
    4. Click [OK].
    5. Restart the system.

For Hyper-V:

  • The [Client for Microsoft Networks] for the newly created virtual network adapter may not be enabled when a teaming adapter created by the Intel® PROSet is bound to the Hyper-V. To bind a virtual network adapter to the Hyper-V, be sure to follow the steps below.
  • 1. Select [Control Panel] > [Network and Sharing Center] and open [Manage network connections].
    2. Right-click the teaming adapter and open [Properties].
    3. Open the [Networking] tab page and unselect all the protocol check boxes, and then, click [OK].
    4. Bind the teaming adapter to the Hyper-V.
    5. In the same manner as described in the step 1 and 2, open the [Networking] tab page for the virtual network adapter newly created by binding the teaming adapter to the Hyper-V, and select the protocol check box(es), and then, click [OK].
