When you run Windows Server 2016 on the "supported models" listed in "Windows Server 2016 Support Information," use a Support Kit referring to the manual included in the kit.
Notes for a series of work steps are listed below. Check the relevant information before you use it.
Required support kits are different depending on the models. Select appropriate kit for your model in "Support Kit" section below.

Installing Windows Server 2016

Before you install Windows Server 2016, confirm the installation steps referring to "Windows Server 2016 Installation Guide" included in the Support Kits for the applicable model.
To confirm the compatibility of the optional products with Windows Server 2016, refer to "System Configuration Guide" of the installing server model.

Steps prerequisite for installing Windows Server 2016

If you configure a RAID system, create logical drives beforehand. For the procedure to create logical drives, read "RAID System Configuration" section in the User's Guide.
If peripherals such as RDX drive are connected, remove or hibernate them depending on the device type. For how to connect or remove the device, refer to the user's guide of the device.
If a UPS is connected to the server, remove it. For how to connect or remove the device, refer to the user's guide of the device.

Graphics Accelerator (N8105-48) is not supported.
NEC detected the following issue in an evaluation:
When running Windows Server 2016 on Express5800/R110h-1, T110h or T110h-S, the system may stop very occasionally if you open a number of windows on the screen and place high load on each window for extended periods of time.
In cooperation with Microsoft(USA), NEC is proceeding with the investigation to address this issue.
We will provide information on this including a workaround or a fix as soon as the cause is identified.
