When you run Windows Server 2019 on the "supported models" listed in "Windows Server 2019 Support Information", use a Support Kit referring to the manual included in the kit.
Notes for a series of work steps are listed below. Check the relevant information before you use it.
Required support kits are different depending on the models. Select appropriate kit for your model in "Support Kit" section below.

Installing Windows Server 2019

Notes for Windows Server 2019 Installation

Starter Pack included in the Support Kit, which are introduced below on this website, do not support application to the evaluation versions of operating systems provided by Microsoft.
Before you install Windows Server 2019, confirm the installation steps referring to "Windows Server 2019 Installation Guide" included in the Support Kits for the applicable model.
To confirm the compatibility of the optional products with Windows Server 2019, refer to "System Configuration Guide" of the installing server model.

Steps prerequisite for installing Windows Server 2019

If you configure a RAID system, create logical drives beforehand. For the procedure to create logical drives, read "RAID System Configuration" section in the User's Guide.
If peripherals such as RDX drive are connected, remove or hibernate them depending on the device type. For how to connect or remove the device, refer to the user's guide of the device.
If a UPS is connected to the server, remove it. For how to connect or remove the device, refer to the user's guide of the device.

Memory Leak in "Handle Count" may be observed in WmiPrvSE.exe (WMI process) when Agentless Management Service is installed. By looking at the Windows Performance Monitor, the increased memory usage for "Handle Count" can be viewed.
[Target Model]
The following models where Agentless Management Service 1.30.0.0(B) is installed in the system.
- Express5800/R120h-1M
- Express5800/R120h-2M
This phenomenon was fixed in Agentless Management Service 1.40.0.0.
It will be updated by installing Starter Pack Version S8.10-006.01.
[Resolution]
The Windows Management Instrumentation service (WMI service) will usually restart the WMI process automatically within seconds once the "Handle Count" leak reaches a certain threshold. The WMI service may be also restarted manually.
Perform the steps below to identify the "Handle Count" in WMI process and determine if a handle leak has occurred.
1. Click "Control Panel" -> "Administrative Tools" -> "Performance Monitor".
2. Select "Performance" -> "Monitoring Tools" -> "Performance Monitor" on the left of the screen.
3. Right-click "Performance Monitor" and select "Properties".
4. Select "Data" tab and then click "Add" button.
5. Select "Process" -> "Handle Count" on the left of "Add Counters" screen and then select "WmiPrvSE" and "WmiPrvSE#x" on "Instances of selected object" and then click "Add" and then click "OK".
6. Click "OK" on "Performance Monitor Properties" screen.
7. See the "Handle Count" in "WmiPrvSE" and "WmiPrvSE#x" on the lower of the screen.
8. If the handle count is over 2000, restart the WMI service as instructed below.
  1. Click "Control Panel" -> "Administrative Tools" -> "Services".
  2. Right-click the service "Windows Management Instrumentation" and then select "Restart". Click on "Yes" if a dialog appears asking to restart dependant services. The WMI service and any dependant services will be restarted.
